That little rendition of Amazing Grace was played using a "right hand chord piano" concept that you learn to master as a result of taking yourself through this program. Only three chords were played here - Cmaj, Fmaj, and Gmaj. If you were to look at a simple "lead sheet" for this easy rendition, it would look like this: (a "lead sheet" is a song chart that is written with one clef - in this case, G Clef - and chord symbols above) ![]() Of course, I probably don't need to mention (but I will anyhow) that "right hand chord piano" can lead to more complex and interesting results as you gain confidence with it. and we will explore some of these as we proceed. I merely presented the above example to give you a taste of what you will absolutely be able to play using the material that is about to follow. |
